Ratings and reviews are here so the next traveller has a better day. Write about the place, honestly, from your own visit. That is nearly all of it.

Please

• Review places you have actually been to, as yourself.
• Say what would help someone deciding whether to go: queues, when it is quiet, what is worth the ticket, what is not.
• Give the rating you mean. Low ratings are as welcome as high ones and are never hidden for being low.

Not allowed

• Hate, harassment, threats or slurs, about anyone.
• Sexual content, or anything involving a child.
• Naming, describing or photographing private people, including staff.
• Links, email addresses, phone numbers or advertising.
• Reviews you were paid, rewarded or asked to write in exchange for anything, reviews of a place you run or compete with, or reviews written for someone else.
• Anything illegal, or encouraging something dangerous.

What happens

Reviews are checked automatically as they are posted: links and contact details are refused, and anything that looks abusive waits to be checked before anyone sees it. Every review can be reported from the app, and anyone can block another reviewer so they never see their reviews again.

A reported review is hidden from the person who reported it at once, and from everyone once several people have reported it, until it has been looked at. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and content that breaks these rules is removed.

Badges reward writing reviews, never what a review says.
